Hi, I'm Leticia
I specialize in designing intuitive workflows for complex products, blending research, strategy, and elegant UI.
I created the first complete design system for Galaxy. It accurately reflected the developed UI and defined rules for future components, containing 100+ elements.
As a result, design and development became more efficient, and we could create the first version of a full workflow map.
I designed an intuitive alert system to indicate the level of electromagnetic (EM) signal received by Galaxy and help users recover from EM signal loss.
I took a tailored approach, collaborating often with engineers, clinical groups, and product managers. The users loved the solution, because it was actionable, non-disruptive, and removed blockers from their path.
I worked with a cross-functional team to analyze the usability of Galaxy. The team conducted interviews and case observations, while I performed heuristic analysis, compared the system with competitors, and analyzed the 1000+ data points to gather usability insights.
As a result, we defined 4 major priority themes and 15+ projects to improve Galaxy’s user experience.

Leticia has been working at Zeiss as an intern for the past year. She has been splitting her time between the Systems Engineering team and the UX team, which I lead. I cannot speak highly enough about Leticia's skill as a design engineer.
She has an innate understanding of workflows and UI design, and has taken on the task of designing and prototyping a web portal for our product line. She mastered our prototyping tool, Axure, in short order, and her designs are well thought-out as well as beautiful. She has also taken on conducting usability studies on hardware for our devices. All this while being pulled in numerous directions in her other role as systems engineer intern.
I'm not sure there is anything she can't do, and would hire her the second the opportunity presents itself. She has a very very bright future as a UX designer and researcher, and any company would be lucky to have her on board.
